Clear from the start.
Terms.
These terms apply when you use this website. They also summarise how a project works. Your written proposal and service agreement set out the exact scope, payments, delivery stages and care plan for your project, and they take priority. If anything is unclear, ask.
Buying a website is covered by the client agreement.
Using this website
This website introduces Frontsprout and its website services. The pricing calculator gives an indication of the configured options; it does not take a payment or create a contract. A project starts only after the written scope, price, agreement and start conditions are accepted.
Websites labelled “concept” show fictional businesses and design ideas; they are not client commissions or evidence of customer results. The content, design, text, graphics and code of this website belong to Frontsprout or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. Third-party material remains subject to its own licence.
We try to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but it is general information only. Prices and inclusions shown are current at the time you view them and are confirmed in your written proposal.
Please use the website lawfully. Do not try to interfere with its operation or access information you are not authorised to see. External links may have their own terms.
Scope and timing
The agreed scope lists the pages, features and feedback rounds included. You supply accurate business information and content you have permission to use. Changes beyond the agreed scope are quoted before that extra work begins.
Delivery targets depend on an agreed start date, supplied content, access and timely feedback. Any applicable cooling-off period must finish before payment is taken or work begins. Changes to scope or delayed feedback can change the schedule; a revised date is discussed with you.
Payments and care
Your proposal shows the cash build price, any spread build price, care fees, payment dates, total commitment and third-party charges. AUD. GST is not charged.
A cash-price build is paid in two stages: the booking amount, then the balance after approval and before launch. Your chosen care plan starts at launch.
Alternatively, a build can be spread over 6 or 12 months. The spread build price is the same for either term and is higher than the cash build price. The first combined build and care payment is due before work starts, after any applicable cooling-off period. It is part of the selected term, not an additional deposit. Remaining payments fall on monthly anniversaries.
On a spread plan, care and the minimum term begin with the first payment, including pre-launch preparation and checks. The clock does not restart, and there is no extra care charge, at launch. When the build term finishes, build instalments stop and the agreed care fee continues until changed or cancelled under the agreement.
Care includes only the services and update allowance listed in the selected plan. A response target means a reply, not guaranteed resolution within that time. Domain registration, email, paid booking or shop software, and work outside the agreed scope are separate unless included in your proposal.
Annual care can be chosen after the build is paid. It covers 12 months for the configured annual total. Renewal requires explicit acceptance; it is not automatically renewed into another annual commitment.
Compare prices and full payment detailsWhat belongs to you
You own your domain and the text, photos, logo and other content you supply. The studio receives only the access needed to carry out the agreed work.
Rights to the commissioned design and agreed handover files transfer once the agreed build amount and earned charges are settled, as described in your agreement. Reusable tools and components remain the studio’s property, with a continuing licence to the included components after settlement. Third-party fonts, photos and software retain their own licence conditions.
One standard source and content export with a transfer guide is included after settlement. Moving the site to another provider or setting up that provider may need separately quoted work and third-party charges.
Changing or ending a plan
The normal notice period for an early spread-plan exit is 30 days. Your agreement includes the remaining build buyout for each payment stage and explains the notice and handover process. Unearned spread charges are removed, and future care stops after the agreed exit date. Already-due, undisputed charges may still be payable.
If you want to keep an already completed website, settle the remaining cash build balance and agreed earned amounts to receive the handover files. If you choose to end hosting without settling the build, permission to use unpaid studio work ends after the notice process. Taking the website offline does not by itself cancel the unpaid balance for completed, accepted work. Your domain and supplied content remain yours.
Before launch, outside the design-stage promise below, cancellation charges are limited to reasonable, documented work performed and approved non-refundable external costs, up to the cash build price. Unused money is refunded. The full price of unperformed work is not automatically payable.
Monthly care cancellation follows your selected plan:
- Essential: 30 days’ notice, with a 1-month minimum care term. A selected spread build term still applies to build payments.
- Active: 30 days’ notice, with a 1-month minimum care term. A selected spread build term still applies to build payments.
- Grow: 30 days’ notice, with a 1-month minimum care term. A selected spread build term still applies to build payments.
If annual care ends early, unused complete months are refunded using the annual price divided by 12, rounded up to a whole dollar and capped at the amount paid. Used months are not repriced and the original discount is not clawed back. Statutory rights still apply.
Your first design
A clear direction before the full build. At the first design presentation, before you approve the remaining build, you can request one alternative homepage direction within the signed brief.
If that still does not fit, tell the studio within 5 business days of the first presentation, before approving the direction or asking for the remaining build. You may stop: build payments already made are refunded, unpaid build instalments are cancelled and unused prepaid care is refunded.
Separately approved third-party purchases are excluded only where lawful and clearly disclosed. The signed proposal confirms the design-stage claim process. This promise does not guarantee search rankings, sales, enquiries or uninterrupted third-party services.
A private homepage preview is a concept, not a completed website or a commitment to buy. Its scope and availability are confirmed before it is prepared.
Website check results
The free website check looks at a few practical basics on the public home page you enter. Results are automated, general information only and may not reflect every page, device or setting. They are not a guarantee of search rankings, security or sales. Only check websites you own or are allowed to assess.
